Swamiji's Appeal"Welcome home to Sri Vrindaban Dham, the original land of Lord Krsna. Lord Krsna walked on this land bare footed and ate it's earth, while performing His childhood pastimes. Being born, raised, and educated in the science of spirituality in Sri Vrindaban Dham, I indisputably know that Lord Krsna personally lives in Vrindaban even today. The scriptures are evidence of this." By Lord Krsna's grace Sri Sri Radha Govinda temple has now been inaugurated. Kirtans, Bhajans, Artis and offerings are taking place seven times a day. Only traditional authentic brahmana born devotees are allowed to perform the deity worship and cooking for the Lord, as it is the Vedic standard to keep to purity intact so the visitors are guaranteed to receive blessings from the darshan. We hereby thank all the donors from around the world for helping in constructing the Vrindaban Temple. Vrindaban is not an ordinary place as it is stated in the Padma Purana, trailokye prthivi dhanya tatra vrindabanam puram "In all of the three worlds earth is said to be glorious because the supreme Lord incarnates upon it, but on earth Sri Vrindaban Dham is the most glorious place because the Supreme Lord Krsna Himself performed His transcendental pastimes there and ate its mud." Those who participated in the Vrindaban temple construction are very fortunate, because to be involved in building a temple in the Lords own land is very rare. Even the great demigods of heaven hanker for such an opportunity. May the Supreme Lord, whom I pray with one pointed intelligence, bless the participants by fulfilling their desires for their kind participation in Sri Vrindaban Dham. They will continuously benefit for as long as worship continues in the temple. Lord Krsna recommends in the Bhagavad Gita, dese kale ca patre ca tad danam satviki smrutam "Charity given for an auspicious place, at an auspicious time, and to an authentic devotee of God is called charity in goodness." Such charity bears good results for the donor but the charity given as per one's whims bears little result. As it is stated in the Padma Purana; Danam grhnati yah sudromahatyam api capadi Yas ca tasmai sampradadyat tau ubhau narakau dhruvam "If charity is given to a non-brahmana born devotee, both the receiver and the donor are certainly degraded after death" Although the temple in Vrindaban is completed we are continually undergoing new development in and around the temple with many projects. We are also interested in finding and developing a piece of land in the United States to build a temple, where authentic worship, and all other Vedic ceremonies will be performed and ancient Indian philosophy will be taught to everyone. Whenever you visit India, please take some time to visit Sri Vrindaban Dham, by doing so you will obtain unlimited blessings from the supreme Lord. We have the temple inauguration function on VCDs if anyone is interested in viewing the festivities please contact our devotees. Your kind donations are fully tax deductible and 100% of all funds received go only towards this project.
