Description
The Twelve Cantos of Srimad Bhagavatam are summarized in these Seven Lectures by His Divine Grace Mahamandaleshwar Mahant Sri Krishna Balaram Swami. It includes a complete summary study of the Vedic Scriptures, known in the world today as Hinduism.
“I was born into a Greek orthodox family in the USA, but I felt that something was missing in my life so I searched eastern religions and found Hindi books that piqued my interest. About twenty years ago in pursuit to fill this void, I heart His Holiness Krsna Balaram Swamiji lecture on Vedic life that convinced me to follow him and this path. So I gave up the philandering and intoxication promoted in the west that allowed my mind to better grasp Vedic thought, which paved the way for the philosophically fulfilling Vedic life I now follow. I published these lectures to all interested parties so all interested parties can also enjoy them. They are so magnanimous they free the mind from the constraints western science has instilled, thus allowing the reader to ponder the possibilities of who we really are, where we are from, where is the best place to be and how to get there. This knowledge informs the reader, giving them information to weigh against prevaricators looking to dupe uninformed sincere seekers out of their money. In this world full of charlatans it’s easy to become apathetic, but I’ve been enlightened to the possibility of going to my eternal home and there’s no sacrifice too great for a chance at immortality. So don’t be dismayed or overwhelmed by the endless possibilities that may be, but by something new starting with a heedful reading of these lectures. You will be better for it and your life will never be the same.”
