Bhagavat Dharma Samaj encourages everyone to follow Sanatan Dharma. In 1991 Residential quarters were built to accommodate the fulltime devotees, brahmacharis and well wishers travelling on pilgrimage to Sri Vrindavan Dham. There are four ashrams that a person has to pass through. In the Śrīmad Bhagavad-gītā it is stated:
cātur-varṇyaṁ mayā sṛṣṭaṁ
guṇa-karma-vibhāgaśaḥ
tasya kartāram api māṁ
viddhy akartāram avyayam
The four social divisions in human society, according to their aptitude and vocation, were created by Me. Know that
Śrīmad Bhagavad-gītā 4.13
although this system was established by Me, I, being unchangeable, should be understood as the non-doer.
The social division is at community level but at the individual level the life of every person is divided into “four stages of life” known as brahmacharya (student), grihastha (householder), vanaprastha (retired), and sannyasa (renounced). of civilized human beings.
Between Age | Phase of Life | Activity |
---|---|---|
0-25 years | Brahmacharya (student) | Attending education in Gurukul |
26-50 years | Grihastha (householder) | Getting married or preaching the married |
51-75 years | Vanaprastha (retirement from household life) | Visiting various places of pilgrimage |
76-100 years | Sannyasa (renounced from material affairs) | Living only to spread the Bhagavat Dharma |
In every ashram there are certain rules and etiquettes to be followed my the civilized people of the society. They must be learnt under the guidance of an authentic Spiritual Master. At Bhagavat Dharma Samaj we have provided training to various classes of the society, especially the the modern youth of this world.
Organization for propagating Ancient Vedic Philosophy
We organize weekly meetings to discuss the Ancient Vedic Philosophy among the community of like minded people. We involve them to ponder about the Origin of their life. And
A brahmacari should live in the asrama of guru, danta, self-controlled, and only for the benefit of guru, not for anyone’s benefit.
We do not propagate any contemporary religion
Spirituality stands above all man made religions. We introduce the visitors to follow spirituality along with their religious beliefs. And as time passes they themselves get enlightened to make correct choices to advance further in spiritual life
yat tad agre viṣam iva
pariṇāme ’mṛtopamam
tat sukhaṁ sāttvikaṁ proktam
ātma-buddhi-prasāda-jam
That happiness which, in the beginning appears to be unpleasant, but at the end results like pleasing nectar because it ends in self-realization and is experienced through intelligence, such happiness is said to be in the mode of goodness.
