****Full Moon Day**** Full moon. Deva-deepavali, on this day the demigods in heaven celebrate the festival of lamps in heaven, having been pleased by Lord Rama’s arrival at Ayodhya. On this day, Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu also arrived in Vrindaban. The following Kartika vow ends on the next day. 

     

The Dev Deepavali is the festival of Kartik Poornima celebrated in the city of Varanasi in Bhojpuri region of Uttar Pradesh, India. It falls on the full moon of the Hindu month of Kartika and takes place fifteen days after Diwali.
