namo brahmaṇya-devāya go-brāhmaṇa-hitāya ca
jagad-dhitāya kṛṣṇāya govindāya namo namaḥ

In the beginning of creation when earth was created, it was placed on top of water. That’s why when you dig a hole in the earth then water comes up.
When earth was placed on top of water, by nature water has waves, so the earth was shaking like a boat in the ocean. When Lord Brahma saw that his created earth was not steady, then he thought what he should do and he prayed to the Supreme Lord. Lord said to divide the earth into two pieces and give half to cows and half to brahmins. When Lord Brahma decided to give half to cows and half to the brahmins, earth became steady. That’s why Lord Krsna is called:
namo brahmaṇya-devāya go-brāhmaṇa-hitāya ca
jagad-dhitāya kṛṣṇāya govindāya namo namaḥ
(Viṣṇu Purāṇa 1.19.65)
Lord Krsna loves two things: cows and brahmins. First is cows, then comes brahmins. Brahmin is a traditional brahmin, not a converted one in this topic/point. Cow looks like an animal, but she is not just an animal. She is the sum total of 330.000.000 demigods. That’s why we call it the holy cow in English. All the demigods reside on her skin holes and her every bit is a medication. Because they are so holy, western people (those born outside of India) thought that if we eat her, we will become holy, so they started eating her. Gritham das gunam mamsam: Those who eat meat, they have ten times more physical fitness, energy and strength than those who eat ghee. In India we eat ghee, it comes out from milk given by the cow. Those who eat ghee have ten times less strength than meat eaters. Milk is food for the brain, ghee is food for the strength of muscles. Those who worship cows because she is very holy, cow blesses that person. Cow eats the grass and gives us the milk energizing the mind.
Those who disturb cows, cannot be Spiritual Masters in the disciplic succession connecting to Lord Krsna, because Krsna is not very happy with them. Those who have had bad habits, but they follow scriptural rules and worship cows, then Krsna gives them sufficient purity to go back to Godhead. The eligibility for everyone to go to God comes by worshipping Lord Krsna and his representatives; the Spiritual Master and the cows.
