SHAHI SNAN AT KUMBHAMELA (2016) OF HIS DIVINE GRACE MAHAMANDALESHWAR MAHANT SRI KRISHNA BALARAM SWAMIJI MAHARAJ 

Kumbha Mela is being held this year 2016 in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. Sri Krishna Balaram Swami is one of the Mahamandaleshwars in India, therefore he also has a camp in the Kumbhamela. The name of his camp is SRI RADHA GOVINDA KHALASA.

Sri Krishna Balaram Swami will be physically present there this year at Kumbha, and his devotees will also go and camp there. Kumbha Mela starts on 22 April till 21 May 2016.

Sri Krsna Balaram Swamiji bathing ceremony will take place on the 9th of May 2016.

Anyone can visit our camp there. Lodging and boarding is completely free. We accept donations if someone wishes to give for Guru and Lord Krsna, but we do not charge anything from anyone.

Kumbhamela comes in every twelve years at one place. There four places (Prayag, Haridwar, Nasik and Ujjain) where Kumbhamela takes place. The Kumbhamela Festival starts in Vrindaban where all the saints come and have a meeting about how to carry on Kumbha. After Vrindaban, it goes to Haridwar, then to Prayag, then to Nasik and then to Ujjai. Thus again all the sages come to Vrindaban to have a meeting.

Garuda came to Vrindaban first with the nectar pot and then flew to Haridwar, then to Prayag and to Nasik and then to Ujjain. It happened in Satyayuga when the Milk Ocean was churned by the demigods and demons combined. Since then for millions of years Kumbha is held. Kumbha means nectar pot. Kumbha thus rotates from one place to another. Thus each three years a Kumbha takes place.

We will have a camp in every Kumbha and many people and devotees come to stay and take prasadam and bathe and have darshan of Sadhus and Yogis.
